Yield Shield scores each dividend payer on six factors: growth streak, payout ratio, FCF coverage,
yield vs sector, earnings stability, and debt load. Most cuts are predictable 6-12 months out
if you watch the right numbers. Safety grade A-F is the primary signal.

A = fortress dividend. F = cut is likely. The score tells you how far from the edge.

Yield + 5yr dividend CAGR. Pass threshold: 12 for standard equities, 8 for REITs and utilities.

Watch the deceleration flag
When 1yr CAGR drops below 75% of the 3yr CAGR, dividend growth is slowing. Aristocrats can still fall.
