Privacy Policy
Plain English summary: We collect your email address to give you access and Stripe handles billing, and we never see your card. We do not sell your data, track your trades, or know anything about your brokerage account.
1. Who We Are
hirethequant is operated by Matthews Cloud Solutions, Ltd Co ("MCS," "we," "us," or "our"), a South Carolina limited liability company. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you access the hirethequant platform at hirethequant.com and its subdomains.
By using the platform you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. What We Collect
We collect a minimal amount of information, limited to what is necessary to provide and secure the service:

3. What We Do Not Collect
We have deliberately designed the platform to avoid collecting sensitive financial information. We do not collect, receive, or store:
- Brokerage account credentials, account numbers, or login information of any kind.
- Portfolio holdings, positions, or trade history.
- Any data about your actual trades or investment decisions.
- Social Security numbers, government IDs, or tax identification information.
- Phone numbers or physical mailing addresses.
We never see your actual trades. The platform outputs data. What you do with it is entirely your own business.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your email address is used solely for the following purposes:
- Granting and managing your access to the subscriber platform via Cloudflare Access.
- Sending subscription-related communications (receipts, renewal notices, material policy changes).
- Notifying you of new algorithm desks, product updates, and platform offerings from hirethequant.
We do not use your email address for marketing to third parties, interest-based advertising, or any purpose not directly related to your subscription. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address with any third party for their own purposes.
5. Payment Processing (Stripe)
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. When you enter payment information at checkout, that data is transmitted directly to Stripe using their secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure. MCS never receives, processes, or stores your card number, CVV, billing address, or any other payment credential.
Stripe may collect and use your payment data in accordance with their own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy. We encourage you to review it. MCS receives only a non-sensitive subscription status confirmation from Stripe to verify that your payment was successful.
6. Cloudflare
The hirethequant platform is delivered through Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare acts as a reverse proxy and CDN between your browser and our infrastructure. As a result, Cloudflare may process and log your IP address, request metadata, browser user-agent strings, and other connection-level data as part of their standard network operations and security services (including DDoS protection and bot filtering).
Cloudflare Access manages authentication for gated subscriber areas. Your email address is provided to Cloudflare Access to validate your session. Cloudflare's handling of this data is governed by their privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Anonymous, aggregate analytics data collected by Cloudflare Web Analytics (page views, performance metrics) may be reviewed by MCS to understand platform usage at a population level. This data contains no personally identifiable information.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use a minimal number of browser storage mechanisms:
- Cloudflare Access session cookie: Set when you authenticate. Required for maintaining your logged-in session across page loads. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function; it cannot be disabled without losing access.
- localStorage (client-side only): Dashboard preferences such as sort order, filter state, and balance input are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics scripts beyond Cloudflare's privacy-respecting analytics. No cross-site tracking is performed.
8. Data Retention
We retain your email address for as long as your subscription is active. When your subscription ends, your email address is removed from our access control configuration.
Cloudflare and Stripe may retain data associated with your use according to their own retention schedules, independent of MCS.
9. Your Rights & Data Deletion
Your email address is retained only for the duration of your active subscription and purged when your subscription ends. No other personal data is stored by MCS.
Deletion requests: You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing legal@hirethequant.com. We will remove your email address from our access control records within 30 days. Note that Stripe and Clerk retain billing and authentication data per their own policies, which we cannot control.
CCPA (California residents): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of that information, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@hirethequant.com.
GDPR (EEA/UK residents): If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. The platform is operated from the United States and is primarily intended for US-based users. By using the platform from the EEA or UK, you acknowledge that your data is processed in the United States.
Service providers: Clerk, Inc. (authentication) and Stripe, Inc. (payment processing) act as data processors on our behalf. Each is contractually bound to process your data only as necessary to provide their respective services. You can review their privacy policies at clerk.com/privacy and stripe.com/privacy.
10. Children's Privacy
The platform is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to This Policy
MCS may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address before taking effect. Your continued use of the platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the current version was last updated.
